Graduate Trainee Programme-We are always looking for the “movers and shakers” of each generation and have established a Graduate Trainee Programme for graduates in their respective fields that are looking for that extra challenge! We search South Africa for the best of the best to find young talented achievers that like thinking outside the box and we groom them in all the facets of our business retail, fresh produce, finance, project management, development, procurement, IT, logistics, warehousing & distribution, specialist foods, etc. Throughout their training programme Graduates are exposed to all facets/areas of our business, until they are ready for placement/promotion into a full time position.
The recruitment process for these positions is an ongoing one, complemented by campus recruitment at universities, technicons, hotel and chef schools and other training facilities or via our website. Corporate & Franchised Store Management

We continuously recruit experienced supermarket retail managers and regional management for our corporate stores and also aim to assist all our Franchisees with any managerial recruitment needs they might have from time to time. For these positions you will need loads of energy, the willingness to “get your hands dirty” and proven management experience in foods and/or fresh produce retail environment.

Freshstop

As we roll out the re-launch of current Caltex Starmart Stores as Freshstop Stores - a new force in the convenience industry, in partnership with Chevron, we are increasingly requiring the need to employ movers and shakers in the foods-related convenience industry. 3. Trainee Management Opportunities

We annually add to our pool of Trainee Managers, as they get appointed, promoted or transferred. If you have a Retail Management (or related) Diploma, extensive energy levels, a passion for retail management and will work hard to further your career in the food retail industry we will welcome your application. Please note that a Trainee Management candidate needs to be extremely flexible in terms of working times/shifts, location and areas of industry and must be prepared to be transferred to any viable location/centre upon completion of their trainee programme.
